SUMMARY:Online MHFA Refresher Course Tuesday 19th May 2025
DESCRIPTION:In line with Physical First Aid Qualifications\, MHFA England now recommend that Mental Health First Aiders should complete a refresher course at least once every three years. \nThis course is for people who have attended the two day Adult Mental Health First Aid Course from MHFA England (or equivalent course – please send me details so I can confirm eligibility if not MHFA England) – and also whose certificate expired not longer than around 6 months ago. \nThis Half Day Refresher Course allows an opportunity to revisit your understanding of mental health\, practice your skills and discuss your experience of supporting people with the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan. \nThe course will be delivered via Zoom. (9am-1pm\, Session opens 8:45 for tech checks) \nYou will receive a  workbook\, and e-certificate on completion of the course. \nAs part of membership of the Association of Mental Health First Aiders you will also receive access to the MHFA Manual\, MHFAider Support App® and an ongoing programme of learning opportunities and other resources for three years. \nPricing: \nMHFA England values this course at £150 per person – however I offer a range of discounted options for early booking or special circumstances – in all cases you receive the same excellent accredited training by an experienced MHFA England approved instructor. \nI encourage you to pick the rate which suits your situation best -in the knowledge that if more people pick the higher rates\, then I can offer more discount places to those in need. \nIf you wish to request an early bird (up to one month prior)\, or other discount (charity / benefits / low income) – please contact me to get a separate payment link or invoice. \nEarly Bird Discount (Employer Funded) @ £135\nEarly Bird Discount (Individual Funded) @ £125 \nSpecial Discounts: \nCharity / Non Profit @ £100\nBenefits / Low Income @ £75 \nContact me with proof of eligibility for special discounts: sarahlongmhfauk@gmail.com \nAll courses may be subject to requiring a minimum number of bookings to go ahead or be offered on a 1:1 basis.
