Twisted Willow Tarot

Spiritual practice is an important part of looking after my wellbeing. For me that takes the shape of meditation, and seeking guidance through the tarot. I have read tarot for 39 years – and recently found my voice through free collective readings on TikTok. https://www.tiktok.com/@tvistedvillow

A variety of personal email or recorded readings are available – unfortunately due to fraudulent activity I am having to remove the direct payment option from this site – but please get in touch and let me know what you are interested in and I will send information. My Decks

Tarot of the Witches

My first deck, which I have used for 39 years. The Tarot of the Witches by Fergus Hall was featured in the Bond film Live and Let Die. The cards are colourful and dynamic – the minor arcana being more simplistic, but with attractive court cards.

Phantomwise Tarot

I was a great fan of the feel of Erin Morgenstern’s books, the Night Circus and The Starless Sea – so was delighted to find she had a Tarot deck too. This is my second deck, which started my renewed journey with the cards. Probably my favourite deck at the moment, I have a strong connection with the cards.

The Wild Unknown

This pocket deck accompanies me out and about sometimes for when I do readings on the move. It comes in a little tin so is a bit more hardy. The nature imagery is beautiful, start contrasts between black and white and colour being quite evocative of the energies concerned.

Murder of Crows

This amazing deck by Corrado Roi, an Italian Comic Book artist has exquisite dark imagery of crows and masked figures. I have a connection with crows and other corvids and find that the messages of these cards are often incisive, and sometimes reveal things we don’t want to face.

Mucha

Georgeous, sumptious imagery which follows the themes of the traditional Rider Waite Smith deck. Mucha adorns my walls and my memories of Prague and the museum there. A warm and fruitful deck in harvest colours.

Pagan Cats

Who doesn’t love cats, and what’s wrong with them? These cards are fun and fun-sized, an assortment of beautiful felines following the fool’s journey and miaowing their messages to us.

The Yorkshire Tarot

This deck by Hebden Bridge Tarot Reader Donna Preece has images from across Yorkshire to explore the themes of the Tarot.

Lucid Dreams

Another portable deck in a little tin, with dreamlike and vaguely surreal and artistic imagery and keywords for meaning and reversals.

Tarotorial

A textual learner’s deck with description of traditional imagery, meanings and astrological associations.

Tarot with Keywords

A learners deck with Rider Waite Smith images, meanings, and astrological associations.

Thoth

This fascinating Alastair Crowley Deck has deep symbolism which I am still learning – drawing on the wisdom of ancient civilisations and philosophies, Kabalah, Numerology, Ancient Egypt and more. Its meanings, names and numbers are slightly different than other decks

Erethereal

Eerie Natural imagery of skeletal trees, smoke and mist and fire – these cards are evocative, and give strong messages.
